After our photo shoot on Sunday, Beau and Sylvie had a little daddy-daughter time down in Harvard Square with some friends. It was Octoberfest in the Square, and of course, Beau inevitably ended up at the beer garden...with Sylvie in tow. Here they are putting back some pints. Sylvie already looks two sheets to the wind.


Upon returning home, Sylvie had her nightly bath and enjoyed some light reading in the buff.


Finally, to top of the long weekend, Beau, Sylvie and I hopped in the car for a short ride up to the Fells on Monday morning for a little hiking. It was Sylvie's first--though definitely not last--time on the trail. Her favorite thing was to reach out around her and pull whatever she could...Daddy's hair, Mommy's hair, leaves from trees, etc.

This Sunday, the whole family took some professional photos. Of course, Sylvie was the star. Here's a sneak peak at a few shots.

Pumpkin picking

Today was a beautiful fall day and we headed up to North Andover to Smolak Farms with some friends to go pumpkin picking. Joc was there with the twins, as were Mike and Lisa with their son, Vince, and some of their friends and their babies.

Here's the girl in action. She's picked up the crawling thing pretty quickly and is definitely keeping Beau and I on our toes.
