And here we go again...

So, Sylvie survived her week-long illness, was healthy for, oh, four days, and now has an upper respiratory thing and woke up with a 101 degree temperature. On top of that, four of her molars are coming in. Oi vay, as my friend, Mia, would say. Yet Sylvie is still her happy, silly, playful self. I don't know how she does it.
On another note, it seems like Sylvie is very close to walking. She took her first baby step, so to speak, last night. I'm sure there will be more to come...
Finally, we fixed our camera cable problem. We've been missing the cable to transfer pictures from our regular-use camera to our computer, but Beau got a memory card reader last night, and we were finally able to transfer pictures/video from it that have been on there for a while. Enjoy.

Here are pictures from our trip to see Amy, Bill and the boys back in January and our dinner at the always delicious Luna Pizza.

Valentine's Day Weekend

So, you may wonder what Beau, Sylvie and I did to celebrate Valentine's Day this year. Well, it was mostly spent changing and cleaning Sylvie, our floors, our furniture, our clothes and lots of crib sheets and blankets as she has come down with a stomach virus. It has been a bummer, but really, this has been her first major illness. She's taking it in stride...she's still generally happy and we're hoping she gets over it soon!
On another note, Sylvie got her first haircut last week. Unfortunately, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing when we were out, so I don't have pictures but I do have some before and after shots.

Before:

The bangs were getting a little long, as you can see.

After:

Yay! I can see!

And finally, Sylvie doing her best scrunchy face:

Get up, stand up!

Just a quick post to show you Sylvie's new skill...(also, as you can see she's into belly buttons these days.)
