When we were at Joc's house this past Sunday, we decided to pull out the kiddie pool and see what craziness ensued with Sylvie and her cousins. Unfortunately, Bibi wasn't able to partake in the fun since he was asleep the whole time, but Iman and Sylvie had fun. We didn't have our camera with us, here's the link to Jocelyn's entry about the event:

A Nice Break in the South
We took a trip for a long weekend to see my parents in the sunny south. Sylvie got plenty of quality time with them and their pooch Smokey. We got to take Sylvie to a pretty cool zoo, the expansiveness of which conflicted with her patience after a few hours. The rest of the trip involved enjoying the weather, eating great home-cooked meals, and taking in the sights (playgrounds & ice cream!) Here's a small photo montage of the events...

Museum of Science
Yesterday was a rainy, rainy day, so Beau, Sylvie and I headed down the road to the Museum of Science for a little fun and exploration. They have a great section there for babies and children called "The Discovery Center" with a lot of hands-on activities for the little ones.
Being there on the weekend was a new experience. So far, Sylvie and I have only been there during the week, and it's usually pretty quiet. It was packed but still fun, and it was Beau's first time being in the kiddie section. He had a good time, too...being the big kid and science nerd that he is. (Just kidding, baby!)

The cousins visit
Joc, Bibi and Iman came by for a visit the other day. It had been a little while since we had seen them, so it was good to catch up and hang out.
After spying a balloon on Sylvie's changing table, Bibi takes it upon himself to attempt to scale the table in hopes of reaching the balloon.

Bibi decides to use the changing table as his own personal climbing gym while the girls look on...

Ain't it Funky
We've known Sylvie is a big music fan and not just the kiddie stuff. Here she is enjoying the daddy's nice Bose headphones...
Feeling the beat to Ain't It Funky by James Brown. That's my girl!

The Zoo
I think everyone in Boston was awaiting Sunday as THE DAY to enjoy a break from the rain and enjoy mild temperatures. Although Katie & Sylvie were sick last week, both are recovering doing better and we went to the Stone Zoo in Stoneham on Sunday. We got a family membership, which covers both zoos in town and some across the country. So while the Stone Zoo was not as exciting as Franklin Park, Sylvie enjoyed one of her favorite activities- watching animals.

Top of the world, ma!

Bunny photo shoot
These pictures were from a couple weeks ago, when Beau's mom was in town for the twins' first birthday. I heard about a "special" going on at the portrait studio where we've been to before...you could get your child's picture taken with rabbits for spring/Easter.
Considering how gaga Sylvie is over her stuffed animal bunnies, how could I possibly pass that up? That, and the fact that this experience would be combining two of Grammy's loves: grandchildren and bunnies, it was a recipe for success.
The photos turned out well. (They're quite a photogenic lot.) Unfortunately, we underestimated the skill and organization it would take to get all three babies to stay in one place and stay happy. But, we all survived...hopefully it wasn't too traumatizing for the poor rabbit.
