After the crazy monsoon-like rainstorms that slammed Boston this past weekend, we were finally rewarded with a break in the weather on Tuesday. The warm sun came out, and Sylvie and I headed over to see Jocelyn, Iman and Bibi and enjoy the nice day in their backyard.

I took some video of the kids racing back and forth across the yard--it was pretty funny--but after trying for the past two days to upload video unsuccessfully to Blogger, I give up. Maybe it will work for me in the next couple days, but for now, some still images will do.

Granny, a birthday, and Aunt Amy

Below are some photos from my mom's recent visit to Boston to see Baby Henri. Here they are, getting cozy on the couch.

On Saturday, we all went over to Roslindale for Bibi and Iman's birthday party. Joc outdid herself, blowing up almost 90 or so red balloons. She also got a castle for the kids to play in, which they thoroughly enjoyed, and nearly destroyed.

Then, on Sunday, Amy came up for the night before both she and my mom went back down to CT. Fortunately, this visit I got a shot of her and Henri, since I totally spaced last time she came up on the day Henri was born.

Smiles?

So, Henri gave me some smiles the other morning...a big, toothless, open-mouthed grin followed by a few smirks. I don't know if the expressions I got on video today also count as smiles. I think so, but I'll let you be the judge.
