Who knew how fun laundry could be? (By the way, those clothes are clean.)

Varied Subject Matter
This post is going to be a monstrous hodgepodge of stuff we've done over the past month or so. To start off, I took Sylvie and Henri in just before Father's Day to get some professional pictures taken for the occasion. Here's a selection.

As you can see, Henri is a very unhappy baby. He never smiles.
The next series is the water series, with pictures taken in Joc's backyard as well as at the Beaver Brook spray park in Belmont.
Playing in the sprinkler...

Henri watched from the sidelines.

At the water park...

Next is the "Out and about in Boston" series...
On the merry-go-round on the Common

At the playground/water area, also on the Common

Eating frozen yogurt by the Frog Pond

A walk along the Charles on a different day.
Some footage of Henri eating and rolling...

Going on a walk
One of Sylvie's favorite things to do these days is to take her friends out on a walk in her stroller, which includes some combination of her dolls, Luna and Abby, and/or Curious George. Yesterday, Luna and Abby made the cut.
On our way!
...and waiting.
It was soon after this that the trains came by, and we headed home. (Henri was peacefully sleeping in the stroller the whole time.)
On a final note, I wanted to add to Beau's previous post. Not only does Henri resemble Sylvie, but he's also a chip off the old Daddy block. Well, maybe not in the pudge factor quite yet. Beau and Henri, both happy and chubby babies.
We also live a couple blocks away from the commuter rail tracks, so looking out for "choo-choo's" whenever we're out in the neighborhood is always high on the list. Usually when we cross over the bridge above the railroad tracks, we casually look to see if any trains are coming before moving on.
On this particular walk, though, Sylvie was determined to see some trains. She sat herself down right on the sidewalk with her babies and camped out, in spite of my efforts to gently coax her to move on.
It payed off, however. We got to see two trains go by (very exciting stuff, indeed) and she was very satisfied with her decision to stay.
Here are some pictures taken with my phone.

Henri Rolls
Amid a casual, rainy Sunday Henri rolled over for the first time. No "official" footage yet, maybe soon.
One interesting thing now with two kids is comparing Sylvie at Henri's current age. And wouldn't you know a blog is just the thing. 25 months ago was early May 2008 when Sylvie first rolled over and we took a trip to Chicago. The resemblance is uncanny.

Sylvie- That's How I Roll
Superstar!
Our little Mary Katherine Gallagher. Or Chris Farley. She must get her grace and coordination from her mother.

A Visit to CT and The Budding Artiste
We took a little trip over Memorial Day weekend to see some family...Beau's extended family for a BBQ in Barkhampstead, Ct, and then to Amy and Bill's in West Hartford the rest of the weekend.
Pics from the BBQ taken by Beau's cousin, Nicky. Henri really got around. Such the social butterfly.

Pics from West Hartford:
Henri, looking about 1/2 Amy's size.

On a hike.
Sylvie and Beau stop to throw rocks in the water along the way.
Back at the house and on the trampoline. Henri looks happy with his big cousins.
What were goal posts for a soccer game became head attire for Sylvie and Beau.
Ethan's cool soccer moves, ending with Henri being dropped by Luke. Oops.
Henri in the grass.

Some pics from our deck. All but this first one were taken by Sylvie.

Mommy, looking tired.
