Sylvie showed us glimpses of a smile at roughly 7 weeks. Fun fact- at 6 weeks experts say the first social smile may occur. After 8 weeks, if your baby is not smiling you may want to call a therapist about depression.
This was Sylvie's 1st documented smile. Something about a fresh diaper (and her parent's foolery) brings joy to a newborn. Enjoy!
Incidentally, you'll have to excuse the dark video footage. The cinematographer was standing directly in her light. Rookie maneuver!

Wow what a production. This was oscar material if I have ever seen it. The lighting tech's award may be passed!!
Sylvie is adorable. The fun begins now that she will respond. Can't wait for the first test of decipline. What will these 2 loving parents do? Will spoil the child and save the rod take place? Karnac the magnificent predicts "YES". This little tomato will have you wrapped around her little finger! But wait when she turns 14.... That's when the real fun begins. Lets see what happens when you say "I want you home by 11:00 PM". THAT'S WHEN IT REALLY GETS GOOD..Work on that lighting tech.
