Roger Williams Zoo

A few weeks ago, Sylvie and I (Beau) went down to Rhode Island to visit my friends Carolyn, Doug, and Mason at Roger Williams Park zoo. I worked with Carolyn nearly 7 years ago, but we still try to get together once an a while. It's hard to believe it still only happens roughly once a year when we're only 1 hour away. Sometimes, it's all about making the effort.

Here's Sylvie in the butterfly garden. Daddy got yelled at almost immediately when he wanted a butterfly to climb onto his finger. The butterfly guards were on him!

How will I keep Sylvie content for the 1hr ride home? Pretzels!

Unfortunately, Daddy didn't take many pictures with the animals. But just keeping tabs on an active toddler was enough animal taming for me.

Love the pretzels, especially them chocolate coated ones.

Please say hi to Doug and Carolyn (and Mason) for me. Tell them it's the guy that crashed on their couch while y'all was playing cards a few years ago. Any more musicals in the horizon?
