Sylvie really enjoyed the trampoline, the hammock, eating strawberries from the garden and visiting the horses, although this time she wasn't too sure about Roxy, a.k.a "the torpedo." Giggles from last summer at Roxy's antics were replaced by apprehension this summer. Oh well.
Beau and Sylvie on the trampoline. I should have also taken video when Beau, Russ and Sylvie were all on there, too. She had a blast jumping with the big boys.
An example of Roxy and one of her fly-by's. Sylvie didn't cringe as much in fear in this take, though. Funny. It's not like she's that imposing. Maybe she just comes on strong.
Now, on to the "George" portion of the post. Sylvie has always had an affinity for her various stuffed animals, but what's really sweet these days is how she loves to take care of them. This morning, she insisted I put a skirt and shoes on her Curious George doll, and then she wanted to put a bib on him and feed him breakfast. Yesterday, she tried putting a diaper on one of her other monkeys. These are all good things, considering what's coming her way in January...
One final picture of Sylvie pushing her baby around the house. A little blurry, but you get the idea.

oh my gosh that is too cute! How amazing it is to see these instinctual behaviors... I wonder if Vince will try to do that!?
