In this post, I've included some pictures from Karen and Cesar's bbq before the July 1st fireworks in Somerville, a couple random shots from home, and lots of pictures from our recent trip to Hyannis.
BBQ timeSylvie's first sparkler. Next year, she's moving to bottle rockets.

Eric and Henri, chatting it up as only two babies can.

Watching the fireworks.

From a different day, over at Joc's.

Henri in the swing.

Taking naps at home.
Scenes from the CapeSo, we spent the week at a place in Hyannis that fortunately was close to a happening downtown, but unfortunately, was more of a distance away from the beach than advertised.
On our first day, we happened upon a "Rod Stewart Tribute Concert" in the park across from where we ate lunch.

Henri was totally into it, as you can tell.

On another day, we took the kids to the "Zooquarium" just up the road, which the kids loved.
Checking out the fish.

...and a tide pool; in particular, a starfish. Glad Joc was there. I don't think I could have brought myself to pick that up.

Feeding the sheep.

Henri, enjoying the animals from the comfort of the stroller.

Bibi and Iman enjoy a pony ride. Sylvie refused to go, even after seeing both of her cousins do it.

Sylvie and the turkey.

In downtown Hyannis, there was a small arcade-type complex, complete with the fastest spinning carousel I've ever seen (which Sylvie did ride...many times), a very large rocking chair, and some other attractions/rides.
In the big chair.

Bibi and Henri strike a pose. Someone had to be the girl!

Henri's turn on the big chair with his sis.

The girls, pretending to drive. As long as these coin operated rides weren't turned on, Sylvie was fine. (see video below)

Iman, the cool biker chic.

Pictures from the house:
Mimi and Henri share a laugh.

Sylvie, lovin' her binoculars.

At the breakfast table.

The morning ritual: watching Winnie the Pooh.

Mimi, Gigi and Pop.

Uncle Amine and Henri.

Strollers, strollers everywhere!

Sleepy baby boy.

At the beach in Dennis.

And now, the videos.
Fun with the bike pump. This one cracks me up.
Vocalizations
Jumping down the sand dunes
Again, Bibi and Iman showing no fear. Sylvie was a bit too freaked out by these.
